Working on The Sandbox!

I'm excited to announce that I'm officially going to be working as one of the artists for The Sandbox by Pixowl. This is like a dream, getting to work with voxels all day long!

Quick animation I created in VoxEdit using one of the sample models.

For now, a lot of my work will still be done in #MagicaVoxel, before converting models to The Sandbox's own editor and animation tool: #VoxEdit. All the assets I create are non-exclusively licensed by the game, meaning I can make the assets available here in the store as well! The scale will be slightly larger than 1 voxel : 1 inch at 32 voxels : 1 meter, but they are very similar.

You can check out the hashtag #voxedit on Twitter to see my work and others' on this game. I've seen the work of a few of the other artists and there is some awesome stuff on the way!

I do plan on live-streaming while I build, so if you'd like to follow me on Twitch, I should have a regular schedule starting next week. We can chat about using MagicaVoxel and listen to some great music. Hope to see you there!

Free Stuff! (coming soon)

I am going to be uploading some free stuff to the store soon. I have a bunch of older models I'd like to share that I don't ever plan on monetizing, so keep an eye out for that in the next week! Here's a preview...
